About Us
Poole Swim Academy started in 2014 by volunteers from Poole Swimming Club to provide family friendly, safe and fun swimming lessons for all children. We have since expanded the academy but still believe in keeping our lessons accessible to all whilst maintaining high standards of teaching. Our main aim is to help as many children as possible become confident in the water and achieve their potential.
We have a range of lessons available for children of all abilities aged 3+. To help maintain our high standards of teaching, we keep our group sizes small. This ensures your child gets the attention they need to develop their swimming and helps to keep them safe in the process.
All of our teachers are Swim England or STA Level 2 qualified, DBS checked and have the correct Lifesaving and/or First Aid training. Safeguarding our children is of key importance to us and if you require any information relating to this, please speak to our welfare officer.
We have the following lessons available:-
- Pre-School to Stage 5 (30 min lessons)
- Fitness and Pre-Club Stage 5 to Stage 10 (1 hour lessons)
- Rookies Lifeguards
- 1-2-1 Private lessons (30 min lessons)
We offer some of the most competitive prices in the area. Our prices are as follows:-
- £7.50 for 30 min lessons
- £10.50 for 1 hour lessons
- £21 for 30 min private lesson (booked in blocks of 10)
These prices include a free hat upon joining and a free swimming badge certificate each term.
