Gail Nuttall - Director of Swimming
Gail has been voluntarily running and teaching at the academy since she set it up in 2014. She volunteers at Poole Swimming Club and has coached children of all ages and abilities for many years. Many of the teachers at the academy were coached by Gail at Poole Swimming Club
Ben Porter -
Teacher and Poolside Coordinator
Ben was one of our original 3 teachers and has now volunteered for Poole Swimming Club and Poole Swim Academy for over years. Ben started swimming at Poole Swimming club when he was 7 and competed at a Regional level. Ben is an ASA level 2 qualified teacher and also a NPLQ qualified lifeguard. He is currently studying Sports Therapy at University.
Jacqui Hull -
Teacher and Poolside Coordinator I began my swimming journey at a young age, training with Hartlepool Swimming Club and participating in Life Saving Club during my childhood. As an adult, I continued my passion for swimming with the Dorset Swimming & Lifesaving Team. Currently, I teach swimmers of ages at the club, including the Silver Squad, and instruct at Poole Swim Academy. Additionally, I assist Barry in coaching Open Water Swimmers and enjoy competing in Open Water Events during my free time.
